I know a lot of you struggled in 2020.
Financially, mentally, technologically, socially, personally and professionally.
It can be really blimmin’ lonely doing what we do on the best of days, not least with a pandemic roaring up out of nowhere and obliterating our sense of safety and wellbeing.
I feel you.
I live and work alone, and though I’m especially well-built for solitude and love to entertain myself, there were several head-bending moments of WTF is this?! for me too.
👉 Here's what 2020 taught me:
That yang (masculine doing, planning and building) MUST be balanced by yin (feminine inspiration, rest and receptivity) otherwise I go mad and turn into a pent up ball of head-stuff and start hating what I do.
Having a cry, a tantrum, a dance, a rant AND a celebration of what’s working is absolutely essential. On a daily basis.
So is going to bed for the afternoon with a hot water bottle and several episodes of Queer Eye. I did a LOT of that.
All of it is welcome. The mess, the heartache AND the gliding triumph of being your own boss and making it work on YOUR terms.
And most important of all… that I can only continue to do what I do with the deep, unwavering, heart-in support of my yogipreneur community.
